Our story: The dream behind 'Stubbornness'

Terküa Beach was not born from an architectural plan, it was born from a promise to the land.

In the language of our ancestors, Terküa means "Little Terküa." For years, we watched as the outside world tried to impose its accelerated pace, its asphalt noise, and its constant rush. But here, in the Terküa area, the jungle remained steadfast, the whales returned punctually each year, and the sea continued to kiss the same dark sand shore with admirable persistence.

That "stubbornness" of nature was our greatest inspiration.

We decided to create a haven that would honor that resilience. A place stubbornly committed to preserving peace, stubbornly committed to maintaining the authentic flavor of our cuisine, and above all, stubbornly committed to believing that our local community—our people—are the best hosts in the region.

We built our four cabins and nine rooms with deep respect for the lush vegetation that surrounds us. We decided that every visitor, regardless of their language, should feel that this corner of the Pacific is their home. That's why we prepared ourselves, learning new languages to break down barriers, but always keeping our smiles and our Chocoan flavor intact.
